This video is an informational video that lays out how to professionally email your professors as a student, using the metaphor of the structure of a sandwich.

Many teachers complained to the C.A.F.E that students were not very professional with their conduct through email, so the C.A.F.E listened to those complaints and tasked the work-study students to create a quick video on "How to Professionally Write an Email". So the work study students came together and wrote a script, developed graphics, and animated those graphics. I personally had a hand in writing the script, I voiced the video myself and animated a large majority of the graphics using Adobe After Effects.

My role would be considered "Project Manager" and "Motion Graphics Artist". Why Project Manager? Because I was, for the most part, delegating responsibilities fairly to my fellow work study students and in control of assets; I gathered and controlled all of the assets due to that fact that I was in control of the authoring file for this project. This video can be found on Youtube and belongs to the Durham College C.A.F.E.

I shot and edited this video while working for the Durham College C.A.F.E(Centre for Academic Faculty Enrichment) as a work study student. I spent a lot of time refining it independently through consistent communication with my team manager and supervisor. This video can also be found on YouTube and belongs to the Durham College C.A.F.E.

This video is based on the corn production in Canada. The assignment from my Motion Graphics & Compositing class, during my final semester in Interactive Media Design at Durham College, was to create an infographic featurette that showcased statistics and any relevant information to the given subject matter. The task was to use 3D motion tracking for the video so that there would be integration between the graphics and the video footage.

It was a really interesting approach to the infographic style and it was a good way to flex my creative muscles with the 3D tracking practice I gained from this project.

This video was an assignment given out in my final semester of Interactive Media Design at Durham College, in my Motion Graphics & Compositing class. The task was to create a roughly 1 minute long fictitious movie intro for any genre you would like. As you can probably tell, I went with the horror genre!

This was a different style video than what I am used to, however, I had a lot of fun with it. I had fun looking for fitting and sombre music and footage. This is all stock footage and audio found online and it was just a really great creative exercise to get me thinking about my footage and it's tone in tandem with the music and it's tone.

Please give this one a watch! It's quite cool!

This is a logo animation video created during my 3rd Semester of Interactive Media Design at Durham College. I had a lot of fun figuring out how to incorporate my personal style into a logo animation and introduce myself in my own way. I found a good, short, royalty free audio clip to synchronize my animation with and it all came together very well!
